Genuine Yamaha Lower Gearcase Seal Carrier and Water Pump O-Ring - Part Number: 93210-41042
A genuine Yamaha O-ring used in selected lower-unit driveshaft seal carriers, water-pump bases and hydraulic trim-cylinder assemblies.
The installation position depends on the engine. In compatible gearcases it seals the driveshaft seal carrier or pump base, while selected trim systems use it as a hydraulic cylinder O-ring.

🔌 Function
In the gearcase, the O-ring seals the driveshaft carrier or water-pump base against the lower-unit housing. In trim applications, it seals the hydraulic cylinder or related end-cap component.
⚠️ Common Signs of Failure
- Gear oil or water leaks around the driveshaft carrier
- Lower-unit lubricant becomes milky
- Cooling-water pressure is reduced
- Hydraulic trim fluid leaks around the cylinder
- O-ring becomes cut, flattened or chemically swollen
